The Position:
This position will initially be seconded to the Emirates Dubai Airport Development (DAD) Team (reporting to the DAD site manager) and will play a key role for the transition of Airport Operations into Terminal 3 / Concourse 2. After which the position will be absorbed back into the regular Emirates Airport Services department.

The Position:
This position will initially be seconded to the Emirates Dubai Airport Development (DAD) Team (reporting to the DAD site manager) and will play a key role for the transition of Airport Operations into Terminal 3 / Concourse 2. After which the position will be absorbed back into the regular Emirates Airport Services department. For the duration of the secondment (approx 12 months) you will be based on site at Terminal 3 / Concourse 2 and you will act as the Emirates client representative for your respective areas within Terminal 3 / Concourse 2 with responsibility for coordinating the placement of all end user equipment and furniture as well as managing overall quality assurance and quality control of your area. You will also be required to represent Emirates for witnessing testing and commissioning of end user equipments as well as coordinating resources for airport trials and supporting HR with staff familiarisation.
After this secondment is over your job will be as the Job Description below:
1.Support and monitor the day to day functions within the Emirates Airport Services units (Check in/Boarding, Support Services & Ramp) in order to ensure that the service delivery standards are maintained within the budgeted costs and that the operating procedures complement the dynamics of customer needs and the expanding airport environment.
2.Support the management in developing and enhancing operating procedures which are supported through business performance indicators and periodic audits to encourage and continue improvements within the Department.
3.Audit daily performance of each section within the Emirates Airport Services Department by compiling performance statistics and measuring these against the established norms and to generate a monthly Performance report detailing statistical and performance data which projects the overall performance of the Airport Services department.
4.Analyse the monthly Performance report and produce monthly performance synopsis to provide feedback on the overall performance of the section. The report/synopsis shall include but not limited to: workload handled by each unit; productivity ratio; actual performance vs the benchmark; compliments and complaints ratio; budget variance; process/service enhancement; supervisory staff performance against set benchmarks.
5.Analyse operational workflow to define practical and seamless standard operating procedures that complement the ISO requirements and promotes efficiency and productivity. Highlight procedural or process flaws to the Line Manager with recommendations for improvement and support in designing comprehensive operational sectional procedures, covering all areas of operation.
6.Ensure to keep track of changing procedures and practices and to accurately and effectively update the Standard and Procedures Superintendent on a timely manner. In addition to maintain high level of interaction with internal and external departments such as IT, Hub Control Centre, Training, Dnata and Dubai Civil Aviation to achieve a smooth process flow.
7.Serve as the champion user for the Airport Services systems by gaining an in-depth proficiency in the operating modalities i.e. (MACS, MARS, BRS, OPERA, HORIS, Hotel inventory system etc) and constantly analyse system performance against the operating environment to recommend enhancements and or modifications required in the systems or work procedures to the Line Manager.
8.Establish resource requirement and analyse variances /deployment in close co-ordination with Resource Planning unit to ensure that the operation is efficient and cost-effective.
9.Support line Managers with IT projects and airport development projects (Concourse 2 and Terminal 3), staff management (attendance, overtime, interviews, disciplinary etc), liaison with training (skill development), CASA (passenger feedback), Ground Safety, Dubai Police, EK Security, Dnata contribute towards setting up service standards due to vast operational knowledge.

Experience and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Graduate (12+4 or equivalent)
Experience:
Airport Operations. Passenger Handling 8 Years in total experience, with 5 years in passenger services.
For Ramp
8 years experience with 5 years experience in Ramp Operations.
Knowledge/skills:
Should have successfully completed advanced level Airport Handling Courses.
For Ramp– Should have successfully completed relevant Ramp & Load Control Courses
Sound theoretical knowledge of ISO 9000 series standards including quality auditing and practical ability to interpret the standards and apply the knowledge to suit specific business requirements.
Good understanding of resource management system and criteria involved in setting / evaluating engagement standards.
Should have a good knowledge of the Baggage Handling / Reconciliations System.
Should be an expert at passenger service operational procedures
Should have had previous experience in writing procedures and work instructions, training delivery, On Job Training etc.
