An Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Fort McMurray was forced to land in Kelowna after an incident involving a passenger, some beer and the toilet.

One of the passengers stole beer from the trolley and then attempted to flush away the evidence.

Upon landing, the man in question was arrested and two fellow passengers were also questioned. The group of them had been drinking prior to take-off and it seems they were keen to continue, although less keen on paying for the privilege.

The man has been charged with ‘causing a disturbance on an aircraft’.
