Manifestation is a powerful mind tool that very few actually
understand. Believe it or not, your thoughts create reality and you
have the power to achieve whatever you desire. We live in a world
without limits. The only thing that holds you back is yourself.

Many great minds have known this throughout history. Here are just
a few examples:

"You create your own universe as you go along" Winston Churchill
"All that we are is a result of what we have thought" - Buddha
"What this power is, I cannot say. All I know is that it exists."
Alexander Graham Bell
"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming
attractions." Albert Einstein
"Whatever the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve" W. Clement
Stone

I have comprised a list of 10 Manifestation Steps that will help
you make the most from your Manifestation sessions.

1. Relax your mind, body, and soul. You should be totally relaxed
and allow positive energy engulf your entire being.

2. Let your mind blockages go, and open your spiritual mind.

3. Once you reached an Altered Conscious State, it's time to
Manifest.

4. Picture yourself extremely happy and satisfied where you are
feeling content.

5. Imaging that you have already accomplished your goal.

6. Focus on the good feelings of reaching your dream.

7. Use only positive words and thoughts. Do not use any negative
words whatsoever.

8. Linger on the good feelings, and imagine that it is really
happening.

9. Speak the words and vocalize how you achieved your success.

10. Believe you already conquered your goals with all your heart.

NEWS| GoAir, SpiceJet deal enters air pocket

A possible merger between low-cost carriers SpiceJet and Wadia Group-owned GoAir has hit a roadblock after the two sides failed to arrive at a consensus on valuation and branding related issues, two persons familiar with the development, told ET NOW.

SpiceJet and GoAir have an agreement of exclusive negotiations till March 2010 to execute the deal. One of the key stumbling blocks was the amount of unsecured loans on GoAir’s balance sheet, said the first person on conditions of anonymity. The other executive said the two companies were close to signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) three weeks ago, but could not agree on a share swap ratio to execute the transaction.

NEWS| Kingfisher starts Chennai-Salem service

After a 16-year wait, the airport at Salem in western Tamil Nadu became operational again, with Kingfisher Airlines kicking off its Chennai-Salem services on Sunday.

Puducherry is the only airport that does not have commercial services in the southern region.
The flight takes an hour to reach Salem. The Chennai-Salem flight will depart from Chennai at 2.50pm and reach Salem at 3.50pm. In the return direction, the flight will take off at 4.20pm and reach Chennai at 5.20pm. If booked seven days in advance, the fare would be Rs 2,529. For bookings within a week, the fare would range between Rs 2,859 and Rs 7,200. On the first day, the flight from Salem to Chennai was almost full barring one vacant seat.

The new service will help residents of Salem to fly to Delhi via Chennai. The Salem-Delhi air ticket via Chennai would cost Rs 6,700.

Located on a sprawling 136-acre extend donated by local traders and industrialists, the Salem airport lay in disuse since 1993 as no airline was willing to invest in this sector. The NEPC airlines started its service only to shut it down because of poor patronage.

NEWS| Paramount may buy 8 turboprop planes for up to $250 million

Chennai-based full business class airline Paramount Airways Ltd could be the only Indian carrier to place orders for planes at the five-day Dubai Air Show that ends on 19 November.

The airline plans to sign an agreement to buy at least eight turboprop planes at an estimated cost of $230-250 million (around Rs1,070-1,163 crore).
Turboprop planes are manufactured by Canada’s Bombardier Inc. and Airbus SAS subsidiary ATR.
These small planes, with seat capacity ranging from 40 to 70, will be deployed to connect smaller cities such as Cooch Behar (West Bengal), Agatti (Lakshadweep Islands), Salem and Tuticorin (both in Tamil Nadu). Bigger planes in Paramount’s fleet, including five Embraer aircraft made by Brazil’s Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica SA, cannot land on the airport runways in these cities.

NEWS| British Airways and Iberia agreed to merge

The merger is expected to be completed in late 2010

The new group would have 419 aircraft and fly to 205 destinations.

BA chief executive Willie Walsh said: “The merger will create a strong European airline well able to compete in the 21st century. Both airlines will retain their brands and heritage while achieving significant synergies as a combined force.”

Approximately one third of the savings are expected to be revenue related - joint selling, network and revenue management benefits - with the balance coming from cost synergies in areas such as IT, fleet, maintenance and back office functions.

The combined business will be led by group CEO Walsh and a management team chosen equally from each airline.

AI posts Rs. 5,548.26-crore loss

The Air India Board has approved the annual accounts for 2008-09, which showed a post-tax loss of Rs.5,548.26 crore.

An official release said the accounts were considered by the Board here on Wednesday in the background of the global economic meltdown that resulted in fewer passengers and falling yields.
The International Air Transport Association had predicted that the aviation industry would lose $16.8 billion in 2008 and $11 billion in 2009 owing to weak revenue and an increase in operating costs. Reflecting the market trend, Air India’s total revenue dipped from Rs.15,252 crore during 2007-08 to Rs.13,479 crore in 2008-09 owing to the global recession and the fall in load factors and passenger yields.
The passenger load factor declined from 63.8 per cent in 2007-08 to 59.5 per cent in 2008-09. The number of passengers declined from 13.21 million in 2007-08 to 10.36 million in 2008-09, the release said.

Kingfisher, AI and GoAir get DGCA notice

Expressing ignorance about the DGCA's ban on operations on shortened runways if they are wet, an official said, "There were 23 landings and 17 departures on the runway while it rained in Mumbai, and no one told us about the DGCA's instructions.''

He added that two DGCA officials were also stationed at the airport to observe flight operations and neither interrupted the operations till the Kingfisher flight skidded off the tarmac.

"The only communication that DGCA had with ATC was on Friday when it sanctioned the `localiser approach' of landing. There was no communication after that regarding runway operations on Tuesday. Traffic controllers should have been made aware of the instructions to make them binding on airlines,'' an ATC official said. An MIAL spokesperson also denied having received any circular or intimation from DGCA.

Malaysia Airlines To Increase Flights On KL-Bangalore Route

Malaysian Airlines is expected to increase the frequency on its Kuala Lumpur-Bangalore route gradually starting April next year to meet needs of businessmen and the tourism sector.

The national carrier is expected to increase the number of flights to five and gradually add more for flights to be on a daily basis in about a year's time, International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed told reporters yesterday.

He said he had been informed of the development by Malaysian Airlines, which is now flying four times a week on the route.

Ryanair winning market share from BA, Air France and Lufthansa

Ryanair has seen increased profits over the last six months as the budget airline continues to win air traffic of more established names like BA, Air France and Lufthansa.

An increase in profit of around 80% compared to the same period last year is however slightly misleading as this is largely thanks to a reduction in fuel prices. Flight ticket prices have also fallen, but this has been negated by fuel savings.

Ryanair predict that ticket prices will continue to fall, with Michael O’Leary saying:

“It’s never going to be cheaper to fly than it will be on Ryanair this winter”.

The airline predicts a loss over the six months, but is still keen to expand in order to be well-positioned when the market takes an upturn. They are forecasting a fleet approximately one third larger in three or four years time, with around 300 planes at their disposal.

British Airways completes move to Terminal 3

British Airways launched its final flights from Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport last week, bidding farewell to the building after 23 years.

The airline completed a transfer of its joint operations with Qantas to Terminal 3, which now plays host to around eight per cent of British Airways' flights from London Heathrow.

Travellers can catch flights to Sydney, Bangkok and Singapore, as well as short-haul destinations such as Malaga, Lisbon and Vienna from Terminal 3 with British Airways.

The building is the designated base of the oneworld alliance at Heathrow Airport, meaning that it also hosts flights provided by carriers such as American Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Iberia.
