VIRGIN Atlantic's Upper Class Clubhouse at Heathrow Airport has been named as the second best airport lounge in the world.
In a guide compiled for USA Today, guidebook publisher Frommer's picked the world's top ten executive lounges.
Virgin was beaten to top spot by Cathay Pacific's 4,500 square meter Wing airport lounge at Hong Kong International Airport.
The British carrier's Upper Class Clubhouse at Heathrow features a small cinema screen, pool table, a roof garden and cocktail bar.
Malaysia Airlines' Satellite Golden Lounge came in third and lounges from Emirates (New York), Continental (Houston), Lufthansa (Munich), British Airways (Seattle), Porter Airlines (Toronto), Japan Airlines (Tokyo) and Oneworld (Los Angeles) also all made the list.
