Garuda Indonesia has confirmed that it will offer the first non-stop service between United Kingdom and Indonesia before the end of 2013.
The new service will operate six times per week between Jakarta and London-Gatwick using brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering First Class, Business Class and Economy seats.
With the latest “on demand” entertainment system, including inflight WiFi, and, even, an on board chef for the exclusive First Class cabin, Garuda Indonesia aims to offer the highest standards of services and amenities in the industry.
The new service has been welcomed by British Prime Minister, David Cameron: “We want to link Britain up with the world’s fastest growing economies, and good air links are vital to achieving that. This new route from London to Jakarta is good for British businesses and will help them to compete in the global race.”
The Network Planning Department is currently finalising schedules and fares, and the new services will be on sale worldwide by April 2013.
