NEWS | Emergency landing by plane as pilots find cracks in windshield

Emergency landing by plane as pilots find cracks in windshield A Mumbai-bound Jetlite plane, with 117 people on board, today landed under emergency conditions at IGI airport here, returning within minutes of take off after pilots detected cracks in the wind shield.

Flight S2 4107 landed safely and the emergency was terminated by 4.55 PM but it led to delay in arrival and departure of some flights, airport sources said.

The Boeing 737 with 108 passengers and nine crew members took off for Mumbai from here at 4.18 PM but within five minutes pilots declared an emergency citing cracks in wind shield, the sources said.
